Rules & Reminders
- Observation decks often restrict tripods. Shoot handheld or with a mini support.
- Grand Central / NYPL / Oculus interior: casual photos are fine; professional rigs/tripods usually require permits.
- Subways: photography permitted without lights/reflectors/tripods. Stay behind safety lines.
- Waterfront long exposures: check NOAA “The Battery” tides (inline below) and wind.
